about

"Euphoria" kicks off our first full album introducing our official sound. We will be releasing one single at a time to give each song it's own personal showcase.

"This song was inspired by the constant battle in my head between living fast and growing up. I don’t want to put the party in the past too soon. I refuse to look back at my twenties and wish I had done more, stayed up later or made more memories. Now is the time to be stupid and live on the edge because I know at some point it has to come to an end. So, in the meantime, I think it’s important to live in the moment and enjoy the ride." - Kelsey Veillette

"For me the song started as a vision. The original demo had a full horn section and strings so from the get go there were big ideas. Once Kelsey had the lyrics set and we started moving forward with the recording, we had to figure out how to bring these ideas to life. We chose to work with Andy at Shape Recording. They absolutely blew us away with their recording techniques and ideas. We didn’t want a modern sound with the recording, we wanted it to mirror the lyrical content. Raw and honest. With Andy we got all that and more. The final step was bringing John Trudeau in on keys and from there it was clear that this single would exceed all expectations." - Tanner Watson

lyrics

[VERSE 1]
Scraping change out of the rug
Good looks aren't always enough
I guess I could ease off the drugs
I guess I could stop getting drunk

But isn't that what youth is for?
Poor decisions until you're poor?
Waking up upon the floor?
These years are for euphoria

[CHORUS]
I cannot stop ‘cause I'm not done
I cannot stop the endless fun
‘Cause I love the taste of this blood
And this blood is always enough

[VERSE 2]
People tell me I am wrong
When I write ungodly songs
But you don't know the endless cons
Of being this God’s spawn

But isn't that what youth is for?
Poor decisions until you're poor?
Waking up upon the floor?
These years are for euphoria
